The Tribeca Film Festival was set up in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff in New York City. The festival includes independent films, documentaries, and short-film competitions. It has also seen the premieres of studio films such as; Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, About A Boy, Spider-Man 3 and The Avengers.
Directed by Oliver Murray and produced by My Accomplice, The Quiet One was shot on 35mm film and will receive its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2019. The documentary focuses on the extraordinary life of The Rolling Stones bassist, Bill Wyman and features by Tim Sidell.
Feature Film, Run is directed by Scott Graham, produced by BTR Productions and will receive its World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival. In the Northern Scottish town of Fraserburgh, young men dream of escapism through late-night drag races. Finnie used to be one such lad, but now he works at the fish factory and it’s his son’s turn to dream and race. Until one night when Finnie steals the boy’s car for one last joyride. Run stars Mark Stanley and Amy Manson with Hair & Make-Up Design by Bethany Swan.
Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 24 – May 5 2019.
