Gem Randall
Gem is from an art and design background and specialised in fine art and graphic design for a number of years before stepping up to design an episode of Amazon Original drama The Collection. Since then their drama work includes Paris Lee’s autobiographical queer drama What It Feels Like For A Girl (for which they were nominated for a RTS Award) directed by Brian Welsh, as well as Nadia Fall’s debut feature Brides which received it’s World Premiere at Sundance in Competition. Other work includes BAFTA winning The Sixth Commandment directed by Saul Dibb, and they recently wrapped feature Queen of Fashion, starring Andrea Riseborough and directed by Alex Marx.
Darius Shu
Darius is a British cinematographer working across drama, commercials, music promos and fashion. His drama work includes the award-winning musical Queer Parivaar, directed by Shiva Raichandani (BFI Flare 2022, Iris Prize Best British Film), Stockholm, directed by Tom Wright (BFI Flare 2022, Best Cinematography at LA LGBTQ+ International Film Festival), and the BAFTA nominated Always, Asifa, also directed by Raichandani. Other work includes Where We Came From, starring Emmy award winner Archie Panjabi, Cuddle featuring Mark Gatiss and the Netflix documentary Peach Paradise. He most recently shot the feature, Slim, directed by Sky Yang.
His 2nd Unit work includes Justin Lin’s Last Days, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2025 and was shot on location across Asia.
Darius has shot fashion spots for Lily James, Léa Seydoux, Gemma Chan, Dominic Cooper, Kaya Scodelario and the Pride in London commercial, directed by Dionne Edwards.
