NYET! – a Brexit UK Border Farce is a new comedy short, directed by Alex Helfrecht and Jörg Tittell. The short shows comedic light to the stress that has been Brexit, featuring cinematography by Tim Sidell.
NYET! – a Brexit UK Border Farce premiered on Sky Arts Sunday 17 March and is now available to stream HERE
Features include Peter Strickland’s Flux Gourmet, the National Theatre’s cinematic production of Romeo & Juliet starring Josh O’Connor and Jessie Buckley, and Two For Joy directed by Tom Beard, shot on 35mm and starring Samantha Morton & Billie Piper. Tim also shot 2nd Unit on Peter Strickland’s Berberian Sound Studio, creating the optical FX sequence. Television drama as lead Cinematographer includes Sky’s I Hate Suzie created by Lucy Prebble and Billie Piper, and directed by Georgi Banks-Davies.
Tim has collaborated with artists such as Runa Islam, Shezad Dawood, Zarina Bhimji, Emily Wardill and Bethan Huws as well as photographer/director Nadav Kander.
