The Weekend Away was shot in Croatia last year. Directed by Kim Farrant and Costume Design by Camille Adomakoh.
The Weekend Away stars Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl, The Roommate), Christina Wolfe (Batwoman, The Royals) and Luke Norris (The Duchess, Poldark, Skins). It’s based on the best-selling novel by Sarah Alderson. The psychological thriller is about a weekend getaway to Croatia that goes awry when a woman is accused of killing her best friend. As she attempts to clear her name and uncover the truth, her efforts unearth a painful secret. The film is produced by 42 MP for Netflix.
The Weekend Away is out on Netflix on 3rd March!
