A warm welcome to Cinematographer Simon Stolland.
Simon’s latest feature, Sumotherhood directed by Adam Deacon, is release in cinemas 13.10.2023.
Sumotherhood stars Deacon, Jazzie Zonzolo and Jennifer Saunders, with cameos by Jamie Winstone, Ed Sheeran, Tamzin Outhwaite, Peter Serafinowicz and Jeremy Corbyn – “Riko & Kane need money so they rob a megastar in a nightclub toilet and hold up the local bank, but things don’t go as planned…”
Other features includes Rapman’s Blue Story, which was released to critical acclaim and stars Michael Ward and Stephen Odubola. The feature was produced by Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor and Damian Jones and released by Paramount.
Simon’s short films include Spud directed by Cydney Adams, Swing for the Fences directed by Alex Hardy and Dead Dad directed by Bailey Tom Bailey, and he has shot music promos for artists including Dave, Dizzie Rascal, Headie One and Tion Wayne.
