Theo Garland shoots a series of Fage spots for director Chris Balmond (Outsider).
Shot in and around the UK for the US market, with sunshine scripted but naturally hampered by the British weather, the opening scene (first still below) of a man enjoying Fage was actually shot on an overcast, grey, dour morning with the encompassing dappled ‘sunlight’ created in camera – more vignettes follow suggesting those that enjoy Fage enjoy it anywhere and any which way they can.
Theo worked his way up through the camera department and is now an experienced Director of Photography, working across all formats and media. Directors include Joseph Mann, Tom Kingsley, Chris Balmond, Ringan Ledwidge, The Apiary and John Dower. He was Lead Cinematographer on Bloods S2 directed by Ben Gregor, and short films/blaps include The Odds directed by Paloma Baeza and Red Flag directed by Big Red Button.
