Feature Ali & Ava is the latest from acclaimed British writer-director Clio Barnard.
With Production Design by Stéphane Collonge, Ali & Ava is part of the Official Selection for the Toronto International Film Festival 2021 and stars Claire Rushbrook (Secrets & Lies, Enola Holmes, Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Adeel Akhtar (Four Lions, The Big Sick, Stranger Things).
Ali & Ava follows the story of the two characters who are both lonely for different reasons. Once they meet sparks fly. Over a lunar month a deep connection begins to grow, despite the legacy of Ava’s past relationship, and Ali’s emotional turmoil at the breakdown of his marriage.
