Production Designer Kaet McAnneny joins Wizzo & Co.
Now based in London, Kaet McAnneny joins with a body of work that includes features, commercials and ‘skits’ for New York’s Saturday Night Live.
In 2014 Kaet worked with director Jeremy Soulnier on the feature Blue Ruin. Critically acclaimed and Soulnier’s debut feature it played at multiple festivals worldwide picking up awards along the way, including winning the Cannes Film Festival Directors Fortnight and the Dublin Film Critics Award, as well as a BIFA nomination for Best Independent International Film and a Best Feature nomination at the Chicago International Film Festival.
Kaet’s most recent feature is The Wolf Hour starring Naomi Watts, set in 1977 and directed by Alistair Banks Griffin; shot on location in New York Watts plays a ‘recluse’ during the ‘Summer of Sam’… Currently in post it’s set to hit cinemas later this year.
Short form work includes various SNL spots directed by Paul Briganti as well as a commercial for BooHoo directed by Elisha Smith-Leverock.
Kaet also designed the features The Lennon Report directed by Keremy Profe, 37 directed by Puk Grasten, The Super, starring Val Kilmer and directed by Stephan Rick and Crown Heights directed by Matt Ruskin.
