A huge welcome to new signing costume designer, Lucia Santa Maria!
Lucia is a fantastic designer with more than 25 years of industry experience. Her portfolio encompasses film, television dramas and commercials, and includes working with high-profile talent and notable producers and directors. Over the course of her career, she has built an extensive and impressive list of credits.
Lucia worked on both seasons of the star-studded show Intelligence and the special episode 'Special Agent Special'. Intelligence stars David Schwimmer (Friends, Six Days Seven Nights, American Crime Story), Nick Mohammed (The Martian, Ted Lasso, Slow Horses) Jane Stanness (Nighty Night, Sally4Ever, Human Remains) and Sylvestra Le Touzel (Amazing Grace, Happy-Go-Lucky, Cloud Atlas).
Lucia has also designed for Netflix series Geek Girl and officially selected Sundance Now and has designed the upcoming series of Trying for Apple TV+ and BBC, directed by Ollie Parsons and stars Rafe Spall (The Big Short, Hot Fuzz, Under Salt Marsh) and Esther Smith (Cuckoo, Uncle).
In 2011, Lucia won an RTS Award for Best Costume Design – Entertainment & Non-Drama for The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson.

Lucia Santa Maria
Lucia is an RTS award-winning costume designer with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Her portfolio spans film, television drama, and commercials, and includes working with high-profile talent. Over the course of her career, she has built an extensive and impressive list of credits, including Trying (Season 5) for Apple TV+, directed by Ollie Parsons; Intelligence (Seasons 1–3), directed by Matt Lipsey for Sky and Peacock; and the award-winning Motherland (Season 3), directed by Simon Hynd.
Lucia has also collaborated with a number of notable directors, including Ben Taylor, Toby McDonald, Tom Shankland, Ben Palmer and Al Campbell.
