In the vein of ’70s folk horror, Lord Of Misrule transports viewers to the British countryside for a bit of hedonistic chaos. Directed by William Brent Bell (The Boy, Orphan: First Kill), Lord Of Misrule follows Rebecca Holland (Tuppence Middleton), who has recently taken over as a small-town priest. When her young daughter Grace (Evie Templeton) goes missing at the local harvest festival, a desperate search begins. The closer they edge towards finding Grace, the more secrets emerge from the town’s dark past. Soon, Rebecca must decide just how much she is willing to sacrifice to rescue her daughter from the grip of evil.
Lord Of Misrule hits theaters and VOD on December 8, after making its World Premiere at Screamfest 2023 on October 19.
Libby Da Costa
Libby da Costa is a London based Costume Designer working in Film, TV, Commercials and Music Promos. Libby studied at the prestigious London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Art. Her design credits include Midas Man, the Brian Epstein biopic, directed by Joe Stephenson (available on Prime Video), Lord of Misrule directed by William Brent Bell and produced by Nik Bower and Deepak Nayor and Doctor Jekyll directed by Joe Stephenson and starring Eddie Izzard. Libby has also worked as an Assistant Costume Designer on major productions, such as This England, Gold and Marvel’s Secret Invasion.
Haelwyn Adams
Haelwyn Adams is a South African Hair, Makeup & SFX Designer based in London. Haelwyn has a diverse skillset with the ability to work with all hair and skin types as well as do prosthetic pieces. Haelwyn has designed for directors like Joe Stephenson, Rich Hill and Dan Emmerson, and for brands, Haelwyn’s clients include Nike, Call of Duty and BMW. For longform work, Haelwyn designed the feature All of You written and starring Brett Goldstein and directed by William Bridges, the feature Lord of Misrule directed by William Brent Bell and A Hand Rises directed by Louise Stern.
