With Cinematography by Ryan Kernaghan ISC, Kneecap has picked up multiple awards this year and they aren’t stopping any time soon!
Kneecap has picked up another 17 nominations for the Irish Film & TV Awards:
- Best Film
- Director – Film (Rich Peppiatt)
- Lead Actor – Film (Naoise Ó Caireallain, J.J. Ó Dochartaigh and Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh)
- Supporting Actor – Film (Michael Fassbender)
- Supporting Actress – Film (Fionnuala Flaherty, Simon Kirby and Jessica Reynolds)
- Casting (Carla Stronge)
- Costume Design (Zjena Glamocanin)
- Hair & Make Up (Liz Boston)
- Editing (Julian Ulrichs and Chris Gill)
The IFTA’s are being held on the night of 14 February. Good luck to all nominated!

BAFTA TV Craft Award Nominated.
Features include BAFTA & BIFA winning Kneecap, directed by Rich Peppiatt, for which Ryan received an IFTA & BIFA nomination for Best Cinematography, Boys From County Hell, directed by Chris Baugh, and the darkly comic revenge thriller Bad Day for the Cut which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Drama includes Trespasses, for which Ryan received a BAFTA TV Craft nomination, directed by Dawn Shadforth, The Hunt for Raoul Moat directed by Gareth Bryn and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms S1.
