Film4 features our wonderfully talented DOP Molly Manning Walker in their recently published article ‘Five woman cinematographers that should be on your radar’.
The article features a short write up on each of the five extremely talented female DOPs (Hélène Louvart, Charlotte Bruus Christensen, Jeanne Lapoirie, Annika Summerson and Molly) citing a little about their body of work so far as well as going into detail about why they think they should be on your radar!
The article specifically focuses on Molly’s short film Pompeii (part funded by Film4) directed by Harry Lighton, which was shot on iPhones & 16mm. The short follows a young man on a night out in London, and his journey home alone for the first time.
Pompeii is currently available to watch on Dazed as part of BFI Flare’s online offering.
