Cursed premiered on streaming service Netflix on July 17 and was shot by cinematographer Damian Bromley (Killing Eve S2, Black Mirror: Fifteen Millions Merits).
Directed by Jon East, Cursed stars Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why, Love Simon, Knives Out), Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings, Westworld), Sebastian Armesto (The Tudors, Mary Antoinette, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), and Shalom Brune-Franklin (Line of Duty, Our Girl, Thor: Ragnarok).
Cursed was created by Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller after adapting their own illustrated novel. Radio Times have said “Given Arthur chance, Katherine Langford’s medieval fantasy could be the new Merlin” and Rotten Tomatoes also said Cursed was an “enjoyable escape”.
