Bethany Swan Nominated For An Rts Award For Best Make Up Design

Hair & Makeup Designer, Bethany Swan, is nominated for the prestigious RTS Craft & Design Award for Best Makeup Design for her incredible work on Michaela Cole’s highly acclaimed BBC x HBO drama, I May Destroy You.

I May Destroy You stars Michaela Cole as Arabella, a young woman living in London who seeks to rebuild her life after being raped. Directed by Sam Miller and Michaela Cole. It aired in June to amazing reviews; The Guardian gave it 5 stars and said that it could be the best drama of the year. The rave reviews and Bethany’s hard work on the show landed her on the coveted Screen Daily’s International Star of Tomorrow list.

Bethany is an award-winning Hair & Makeup Designer who specialises in films, HETV dramas and commercials. She designed Michaela Coel’s lauded BBC x HBO drama, I May Destroy You. Her outstanding work on the show has earned her numerous accolades including being named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow, a BAFTA Breakthrough, and being nominated for both an RTS Craft Award and a BAFTA Craft Award. Bethany has since designed season 3 of Hanna for Amazon Prime, Mammals for Amazon Prime and The Flatshare directed by Peter Cattaneo for Paramount+.
