Directed by BAFTA and Academy Award winner James Marsh, Dance First follows “many parts of the literary Samuel Beckett giant’s life: Parisian bon viant, World War II Resistance fighter, Nobel Prize-winning playwright, philandering husband and recluse.”
Cinematography by Antonio Paladino and Production Design by Damien Creagh, Dance First stars Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, Hereditary), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, The Dark Knight), Bronagh Gallagher (Pulp Fiction, Derry Girls) and Maxine Peake (The Theory of Everything, Shameless).
Dance First was officially selected at the Sebastian Film Festival 2023 and hits cinemas 3 November, Sky Cinema in December and Sky Arts / Freeview in 2024!
