Directed by Idris Elba, Yardie is released in UK cinemas 24.08.2018.
Production Designer Damien Creagh joined Elba on location in Jamaica and then back in the UK for Elba’s directorial feature debut.
Yardie is based on the international best selling novel written by Victor Headley and follows the underworld of ’90s gang culture from Kingston, Jamaica to the streets of London. Aml Ameen, Stephen Graham & Naomi Ackie star.
Damien has recently wrapped Nic Rowland’s debut feature Calm With Horses shot on location in Ireland and starring Barry Keoghan and Cosmo Jarvis, and he’ll be starting production on his next feature, a multi-million $ fantasy tale, in the next month or so.
