British feature film That Good Night shot by DOP Richard Stoddard premieres at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Directed by Eric Styles and shot entirely on location in The Algarve, Portugal, this is one of John Hurt’s final film roles. Adapted from N.J. Crisp’s stage play, Hurt plays once famous screenwriter Ralph, now terminally ill and hoping to reconcile with his son as well as not be a burden to his wife, Anna (Sofia Helin).
That Good Night is nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Film.
