Jungle has just hit our screens on Amazon Prime with a bang! With Cinematography by Chas Appeti and Directed by Junior Okoli, Jungle stars Ezra Elliott (The Batman), Nadia A’Rubea (Strange Mercy), Kaine Buffonge (Hackney Downs), Brett Curtis (The Nevers), Seyi Andes-Pelumi (Femme) and Call Jonel (The Midwich Cuckoos).
“The connected lives of two separate strangers, each facing their own struggles, viewed through the prism of UK grime and drill music, and giving a perspective of inner-city London.”
Decider said; “… a strong visual and musical style with Jungle. It’s set in a London that is familiar but still futuristic, with lots of holograms and otherworldly-lit advertising signs. A lot of the dialogue is rapped in a way that the rhymes make perfect sense…”
“Our Call: STREAM IT. Jungle has an arresting visual style, and its rap and drill soundtrack layers in more interesting elements.”
Jungle had its World Premiere in Leicester Square on the 28 September ahead of its release on Amazon Prime on Friday 30 September. You can stream all 6 episodes now on Amazon Prime.
