Bfi Film Festival 2019 + Featured Roster

Congratulations to all our clients with work screening at the BFI London Film Festival 2019.

Director of Photography, Sverre Sørdal FNF’s work features in County Lines. Directed by Henry Blake the film focuses around a 14-year-old boy who is groomed into selling class A drugs.

Rare Beasts features Hair & Make Up Design by Bethany Swan. Rare Beasts is the directing feature-debut of Billie Piper (Doctor Who, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), and stars Lily James (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Baby Driver, Yesterday).

Hair and Make Up Design by Bethany Swan is also shown in the feature, Run. Directed by Scott Graham, Run is about young men who yearn for escapism through late-night drag races.

Production Design by Damien Creagh is shown in Calm with Horses. Based in Ireland and directed by Nick Rowland, Calm with Horses revolves around the father of an autistic child who is also having trouble with a drug dealing family.

Production Designer Sarah Finlay also has work showing in the form of feature, Rialto. Directed by Peter Mackie Burns, Rialto focuses around Colm, a happily married father of two in his mid-40s who is falling into a downward spiral after the death of his father and dealing with being made redundant in Dublin.

Perfect 10 is based on an aspiring teen gymnast meeting her half-brother that she didn’t know she had.  Shot by Director of Photography Steven Ferguson, Perfect 10 is directed by Eva Riley.

Days of the Bagnold Summer is directed by Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners, Friday Night Dinner) with Production Design by Lucie Red, and stars Monica Dolan (Sightseers, Black Mirror) , Earl Cave (The End of the F***ing World, Born to Kill), Tamsin Greig (Green Wing, Black Books) and Rob Brydon (Gavin & Stacey).

Director of Photography Susie Salavati shot feature-documentary, White Riot, playing in competition. Directed by Rubika Shah, White Riot explores the neo-Nazi National Front and how Punk music influenced politics in the late 70s in Britain.

The first two episodes of BBC television series Trigonometry will also screen at the BFI Film Festival. Featuring Production Design by Stéphane Collonge, Trigonometry is directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari and Stella Corradi and is based around a couple living in London who take in a roommate.
