Great 8 showcases 8 UK films at this year’s Cannes Marché. This is run by the BFI, British Council, BBC Films and Film4 and takes place at an annual private reception at Hotel Gray d’Albion.
Calm with Horses is showcased in the Cannes Marché – Great 8. Featuring Production Design from Damien Creagh, Calm with Horses is based in rural Ireland around an ex-boxer who has become involved with a drug-dealing family while trying to take care of his autistic son. Directed by Nick Rowland and starring Niamh Algar (Pure, The Bisexual) and Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk, American Animals).
