Tonight sees the return of the acclaimed TV drama Tin Star, now in its second season.
Featuring cinematography by Director of Photography Dale McCready NZCS (who also acted as lead cinematographer on Season 1), the series continues to focuses on the trials of police sheriff Jim Worth (Eric Roth) and his family who -recently emigrated to the fictional mountain town of Little Big Bear – struggle with their past, and integrating with the community.
Set in the Canadian Rockies against a backdrop of embedded crime and corruption, as well as the influence of multinational oil corporations, pollution and suicide, the series centres on Worth’s fight with the status quo and the conflicts that arise in search of the truth.
Tin Star Season 2 screens tonight on Sky Atlantic.
