A huge congratulations to the Wizzo roster for their BIFA nominations!
Cinematographer Molly Manning Walker has been nominated for Best Cinematographer for Scrapper (Dir. Charlotte Regan). Scrapper has received a total of 14 nominations!
"Georgie, a dreamy 12-year-old girl, lives happily alone in her London flat, filling it with magic. Suddenly, her estranged father turns up and forces her to confront reality." Scrapper stars Lola Campbell and Harris Dickinson.
Production Designer Sarah Finlay has been nominated for Best Production Design for All of Us Strangers (Dir. Andrew Haigh). All of Us Strangers has received a total of 14 nominations!
All of Us Strangers: "A screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbor as he then discovers his parents appear to be living just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before." All of Us Strangers stars Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal.
Hair and Make Up Designer Claire Carter has been nominated for Best Make-Up & Hair Design for Polite Society. (Dir. Nida Manzoor). Polite Society has received a total of 5 nominations!
Polite Society: "Ria Khan believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting her friends' help, she attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood." Polite Society stars Prya Kansara and Rita Arya.
Winners will be announced at the BIFA ceremony on Sunday 3 December. Good luck to all!

Molly Manning Walker
Drama includes Charlotte Regan’s BIFA/BAFTA nominated debut feature Scrapper, winner of the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize, and Mood (Lead Cinematographer) for the BBC and director Dawn Shadforth. Molly has shot multiple award winning shorts including November 1st directed by Charlie Manton, More Hate Than Fear directed by Billy Boyd Cape and Pompeii. She has been nominated at the UKMVAs for her work on A$AP Rocky: Sundress directed by Frank Lebon, and won a British Arrow (Silver) Craft Award for her work on NHS: Nurses directed by Billy Boyd Cape. Directors include Nicolai Fuglsig, Stella Scott, Stacey Wall, Si & Ad, Geej Ower and Tom Noakes.
Claire Carter
Claire Carter is an award-winning Hair & Makeup Designer in the film, TV, and commercial industries. She collaborates regularly with director MJ Delaney, designing her feature Powder Room with Sheridan Smith and Kate Nash. Claire designed the highly acclaimed drama We Are Lady Parts directed by Nida Manzoor for Channel 4 / Peacock. Claire’s exceptional work on the show won her the Best Makeup Design award at the 2021 RTS Craft & Design Awards. Additionally, she was the designer for Nida Manzoor’s debut feature Polite Society which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received excellent reviews. Claire earned herself a BIFA nomination for her role as Hair & Makeup Designer for Polity Society.

Features include Andrew Haigh’s BIFA winning and BAFTA nominated All Of Us Strangers, which premiered at Telluride and stars Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, H is for Hawk directed by Philippa Lowthorpe, Francis Lee’s Ammonite starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan and Sebastian Leilo’s Disobedience starring Rachel Weisz. TV drama includes period drama The Gallows Pole for the BBC and director Shane Meadows. Sarah has also worked with directors including Craig Roberts, Tony Grisoni, John Maclean, Sara Dunlop and Peter Strickland.
