Huge congratulations to Hair & Makeup Designer, Claire Carter, who has won Best Makeup Design at the RTS Craft & Design Awards last night! Claire received the accolade for her outstanding work on We Are Lady Parts directed by Nida Manzoor for Channel 4 and Peacock.
The judges praised Carter for “marrying Muslim culture with a punk aesthetic” and “eye flicks to rival all eye flicks”!
The groundbreaking series picked up 3 awards last night and was nominated in 6 categories.
Claire is currently collaborating with Nida Manzoor again on the feature, Polite Society – a feminist action-comedy heist film.
