The hit BBC One drama, which is an adaptation of JK Rowling’s Strike series, will return once again as fans get to see the detective tackle a new case. Going back to solve a crime from the 1970s, Cormoran (Tom Burke) and Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger) have a challenge on their hands. However, the new series will see the leading actor’s mother, Anna Calder-Marshall, join the cast.
Going back to Cornwall to visit his family, Cormoran is approached by a woman who asks for his help. Wanting to try and find her mother, who vanished 40 years ago, the detective is about to take on his first ever cold case with his sidekick’s help along the way.
The popular BBC Drama returns 11th Dec on BBC One at 9pm.
