Congratulations to Nicola Daley BSC ACS, invited to join the BSC May 2023.

Nicola’s drama work includes Terence Davies’ critically acclaimed feature, Benediction, starring Jack Lowden, The Handmaid’s Tale S5 directed by Elisabeth Moss, BBC/HBO period drama Gentleman Jack and Deborah Haywood’s debut feature Pin Cushion.

Features include Terence Davies’ Benediction and the BFI funded Pin Cushion directed by Deborah Haywood. TV drama includes The Handmaid’s Tale S5 directed by Elisabeth Moss, Paradise Lost starring Nick Nolte and Josh Hartnett, Halo Season 2, and Gangs of London Season 3. Documentaries include the Michael Roberts feature documentary Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes For Lizards and Go Back To Where You Came From directed by Ivan O’Mahoney.

In 2014 Nicola became the 8th woman in Australian history to be accredited into the Australian Society of Cinematographers, and subsequently in 2024 was inducted into the ACS Hall of Fame.
