DOP Molly Manning Walker shot the latest A$AP Rocky promo ‘Sundress’ featuring a sample from Tame Impala’s ‘Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?’ which dropped earlier this week.

Shot on 16mm (500T 7219) on location…

Directed by Frank Lebon with choreography by Nathan Mitchell.

It stars Kesewa Aboah. The promo is an underground club scene where time literally stands still. A$AP and Kesewa relationship plays out in flashbacks as Kesewa seeks revenge on her now ex!

Drama includes Charlotte Regan’s BIFA/BAFTA nominated debut feature Scrapper, winner of the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize, and Mood (Lead Cinematographer) for the BBC and director Dawn Shadforth. Molly has shot multiple award winning shorts including November 1st directed by Charlie Manton, More Hate Than Fear directed by Billy Boyd Cape and Pompeii. She has been nominated at the UKMVAs for her work on A$AP Rocky: Sundress directed by Frank Lebon, and won a British Arrow (Silver) Craft Award for her work on NHS: Nurses directed by Billy Boyd Cape. Directors include Nicolai Fuglsig, Stella Scott, Stacey Wall, Si & Ad, Geej Ower and Tom Noakes.
