Jess Summer + Nomination for Best Hair & Makeup Design

A huge congratulations to Jess Summer for her nomination for Best Hair & Make Up Design at the Worcester Film Festival for her outstanding work on Bloodsuckers.

The short is directed by Rosie Brear and stars Thaddea Graham (“Sex Education,” “Bad Sisters“), Amber Grappy (“One Day,” “Black Mirror”) and Laura Marcus (“Star Wars Andor,” “Bad Education”). It’s about an aspiring vampire slayer that takes revenge on her housemate from hell.

The film is having an incredible festival run; it’s been part of the official selection for Raindance, SXSW UK, Sunderland Film Festival and HorrorCon UK to name a few!

Worcester Film Festival is on 22nd – 26th Sept!

    Jess Summer is an established Hair & Makeup Designer working in Film, TV, Commercials, Editorials and Music Promos. She has collaborated with directors like Henry Scholfield, Raine Allen Miller and Eoin Glaister and for Scholfield, designed Stormzy’s award-winning music promo Vossi Bop (UKMVA Winner – Video of the Year and Best Urban Video). Jess is currently nominated for Best Hair & Makeup Design at Worcester Film Festival for her work on the short Bloodsuckers directed by Rosie Brear.
