A huge congratulations to Cinematographer Nicola Daley BSC ACS, who has been inducted into the Australian Cinematographer’s Society’s Hall of Fame!
This was in “recognition of significant or extraordinary contribution to the craft of Cinematography, the Society of the Motion Picture & Television Industry.”
Nicola worked as Lead Cinematographer on The Handmaid’s Tale (Season 5 – Dir Elisabeth Moss) which received several awards including; Distinction – Best Cinematography at the ACS Awards 2024 and Gold Winner – Best Cinematography at the ACS Awards 2023.
Nicola also received a Craft Award for Achievement at the Women in Film and TV Awards 2022.
Nicola’s body of work extends to features, tv drama, documentaries and short form. Her last feature, Benediction, was directed by the late Terence Davies, and other work includes Halo for Paramount Plus, Gentleman Jack and Paradise Lost.
We couldn’t be happier that Nicola is now in the Hall of Fame – well deserved!
