Emmys 2019: Killing Eve S2 + Damian Bromley

The nominees for the 71st Emmy Awards have recently been released, with Killing Eve Season 2 among those taking centre stage.

Cinematographer Damian Bromley shot Block 2 (Eps 3 and 4) of the acclaimed drama, with his episode ‘Desperate Times’ earning director Lisa Bruhlmann a nod in the category of Directing for a Drama series.

Commissioned by BBC America, the series is a contender for a score of other awards including Best Drama series, as well as Lead Actress for both Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer – winners will be announced at the awards ceremony set to take place Sunday 22nd September.

Drama credits include the Emmy-nominated Killing Eve S2 directed by Lisa Bruhlmann, The Durrells S2 starring Keeley Hawes and Josh O’Connor alongside director Ed Hall, and the Shakespearean period drama Will with Shekhar Kapur. Other television drama includes Black Mirror, Da Vinci’s Demons, Dr Who, Cursed and Spooks – for which Damian earned a BAFTA nomination. Feature films include the horror X-Moor directed by Luke Hyams, Nick Love’s The Business and The Football Factory.
