Recently for the launch of its new female-focused collection – The 1 Reimagined – Nike invited Naomi Campbell to unite a collective of remarkable young women from assorted different disciplines, in order to profile the designs.
Hair and Make Up Designer Dorita Nissen worked across the project, captured by Stella Scott and produced through Pulse, with still images from the shoot profiled by British Vogue.
Danish born hair and makeup designer Dorita Nissen, began her career by joining the pro team for Laura Mercier in America. After relocating to London, Dorita ventured out on her own & got her NVQ in barbering. Her talent and expertise caught the attention of renowned fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and GQ, leading her to head fashion shows in Milan, New York, and London. As her career progressed, Dorita transitioned into the world of commercials, music videos, and film. She contributed her skills to notable films such as Beast directed by Leonora Lonsdale and starring Billie Piper, as well as music videos for artists such as The 1975, David Bowie and Dua Lipa. Dorita’s impressive portfolio includes collaborations with numerous high-profile celebrities, incl. Amy Winehouse, AJ Tracey, Lily Allen, Jaden Smith, Depeche Mode, Florence Pugh, Cara Delevingne and Jodie Turner-Smith. Additionally, she has worked on major commercial campaigns for brands like Gillette, Nike, Coca-Cola, JD Sports, Marks & Spencer, Tommy Hilfiger, Brioni, and Rimmel London, collaborating with esteemed directors such as Khalil Joseph, Dexter Navy, Philip Andelman, Bradley & Pablo, Emil Nava, Sophie Mullens, Saam Farahmand and Lope Serrano Sol. Dorita speaks Danish, English, German and Italian.
