The Eva Riley-directed short film ‘Diagnosis’ has been nominated for best UK short at the Raindance Film Festival. Featuring Hair and Make Up Design by Bethany Swan, Diagnosis will screen as part of the shorts programme on Saturday 23rd September at Vue Leicester Square.
Bethany is an award-winning Hair & Makeup Designer who specialises in films, HETV dramas and commercials. She designed Michaela Coel’s lauded BBC x HBO drama, I May Destroy You. Her outstanding work on the show has earned her numerous accolades including being named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow, a BAFTA Breakthrough, and being nominated for both an RTS Craft Award and a BAFTA Craft Award. Bethany has since designed season 3 of Hanna for Amazon Prime, Mammals for Amazon Prime and The Flatshare directed by Peter Cattaneo for Paramount+.
