Cinematographer Dale Elena McCready NZCS shot Belgravia, airing currently on ITV. The series was directed by John Alexander, produced through Carnival Films and scripted by Julian Fellowes (adapted from his novel).
The drama opens at the Duchess of Richmond’s ball, June 1815, held in Brussels on the eve of the Battle of Quatre Bras, two days before the Battle of Waterloo. In attendance are Mr & Mrs Trenchard (played by Philip Glenister and Tamsin Greig), their daughter, Sophia (Emily Reid) and Lord Edmund Bellasis (Jeremy Neumark)… cut to 25 years later when the Trenchard’s and Bellasis’ are settled in the newly developed are of Belgravia, London, and the secrets of that night begin to unravel.
Belgravia is a co-production between ITV and American cable network Epix, and is available to stream on the ITV Hub now – Episode 3 airs this coming Sunday 29 March 2020.
