Costume Designer Buki Ebiesuwa styled the costumes for the UEFA commercial ‘We Play Strong’, directed by Kibwe Tavares at Nexus, shot on location in London and Lisbon.
Premiering on TV during the UEFA Women’s Champions League final between Olympique Lyonnaise and Paris Saint-Germain in Cardiff, the high-energy ad by FCB Inferno aims to make football the number-one played sport for women in Europe within five years and encourage more teenage girls to take it up.
Spanish born Buki is a hugely experienced Stylist and Costume Designer working internationally with directors such as Matthew Vaughn, John McTernan, Nick Gordon, Ernest Desumbila, and Ivan Bird. Buki styled the award-winning commercial The Switch directed Ringan Ledwidge, winner of the Creative Circle Film Craft: Gold in Best Direction. Buki is based in Barcelona and London.
