As the Pride Festivities continue, theses series of spots designed by Anna Rhodes and directed by Fred Scott (Pulse) highlight the issues the LGBTQI community sometimes experience when ‘coming out’ to their families.
The ‘reveal’ is sadly not always a positive one with the dialogue in each spot exploring the regret various family members now feel due to their inability at the time to react well to the news that their daughter/son are LGBTQI.
The narrative focuses upon each person’s story with the colour palette accentuating the lack of diversity and acceptance relating to each individual’s past – one man is surrounded by objects that conversely highlight how alone he now feels when contemplating his historical reaction to his son’s news.
