British feature MY NAME IS LENNY hits cinemas today 09.06.2016 with Cinematography by Fede Alfonzo.
The feature begins its theatrical journey premiering at the East End Film Festival, a festival chosen to highlight Lenny ‘The Guv’nor’ McLean’s connection to the East End of London. The feature chronicles boxer Lenny ‘The Guv’nor’ McLean’s rise from bare knuckle fighter to boxer in the ring.
Directed by Ron Scalpello & starring Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road, Falling, X Men: Apocalypse) as Lenny McLean the film was shot in the Summer of 2016 and produced by Paul Van Carter – Van Carter also wrote the screenplay along with Martin Askew. Rita Tushingham stars alongside John Hurt in one of his last screen roles.
