Ruben Woodin Dechamps shot the short film WE LOVE MOSES directed by Dionne Edwards and funded by Film London. The short continues its festival run recently receiving a nomination for the HBO Best Short Film at the American Black Film Festival 2017.
WE LOVE MOSES has played at multiple festivals worldwide including BFI LFF & BFI Flare 2017, London Short Film Festival 2017, BFI Black Star & Underwire Film Festival, and the East End Film Festival 2016.
Other drama shot by RUBEN includes short films WHEN I GROW UP and FIGHT directed by Jon Spatz, LORD & LIDL directed by Oscar Hudson, the short documentary A SECOND WORLD which played in competition at CamerImage 2016 and was directed by Oscar Hudson, and the feature MY ONE DEMAND directed by Matt Adams.
RUBEN also shot 2nd Unit on the soon to be released feature adaptation of THE HIPPOPOTAMUS directed by John Jencks (hits cinemas 09.06.2017) starring Rogers Allan, Fiona Shaw and Matthew Modine.
